About Adelaide Arthroplasty Clinic
Founded on the values of lasting friendships and driven to deliver the best patient outcomes
We strive to deliver the best possible outcomes for patients
Adelaide Arthroplasty Clinic is a collaborative orthopaedic practice, focused on the progressive treatment of complex orthopaedic conditions of the hip and knee.
Founded in early 2020 by 3 orthopaedic surgeons, Professor Lucian Bogdan Solomon, Dr Ahmed Bajhau and Dr Kush Shrestha, who first met during their surgical training. Their friendship, now decades long, saw them consult one another and operate together on complex orthopaedic cases involving hip and knee conditions.
After Kush’s passing in 2021, Bogdan and Ahmed were joined by Associate Professor Boopalan Ramasamy, and now their combined desire to collaborate and drive the best patient outcomes is the foundation that underpins Adelaide Arthroplasty Clinic.
While each has pursued orthopaedic careers, interests, training and professional development driven by their own passions, what has remained constant are their shared, underlying values:
- Collaboration: working as a team with one another, patients, and allied professionals
- Focused: specialising in hip and knee arthroplasty
- Progressive: application of a rigorous and disciplined pursuit of excellence, using sophisticated and refined techniques to deliver best-in-class care
- Care: caring about our patients, building trust with them and their health practitioners to offer realistic, dependable approaches and results
- Leading the way: we are recognised, international leaders in our field and have contributed to treatment developments that have significantly improved patient outcomes, as demonstrated by our scientific output.
